Air Conditioner Thefts at La Familia: Help Restore Comfort & Dignity for Our Seniors

Over the past month, La Familia Senior Community Center has suffered the theft of three air conditioning units, leaving our elders vulnerable to extreme summer heat. Despite generous support—including replacement donations from Comfort Systems and coverage on KAKE and KWCH TV—we’ve had to temporarily close our doors to protect the health and safety of our members.
 
We need your help to replace stolen units, secure the facility, and reopen with full services. A GoFundMe account has been set up to support this urgent effort.
